About us
Our group studies the dynamics of complex flows through integrated approaches combining physics-based modeling, high-performance computing and data science, software engineering, control, and companion experiments, with emphasis on rocket propulsion and hypersonics. We are also interested in cyberphysical integration - effectively connecting computers and real-world devices - for assimilation and optimization of complex engineering systems.
Opportunities
Current Purdue students can contact Maeda to find a time to chat.
Prospective graduate students can apply for The Gambaro Graduate Program of Aeronautics and Astronautics and indicate their interests on the application forms.
Prospective postdoctoral fellows can contact Maeda as well as apply for the Lillian Gilbreth Fellowship Program and indicate their interests in our project (application due date for this project is Nov 1, 2023, to start in Feb 2024 or later).
